Philadelphia, Pa. February 9, 2009: H. Ronald Klasko, the founding partner of the immigration law firm Klasko, Rulon, Stock & Seltzer LLP, recently spoke at the Mid Winter Business Meeting of the Florida Association of Realtors in Orlando about immigration options for foreign investors who wish to purchase real estate in the U.S. but lack the desire or ability to pursue employment here.
These visa programs are of great interest to Florida realtors since they can advise foreign buyers that they may be able to obtain permanent residency status in the United States and live in properties they purchase.
For nearly 30 years, Mr. Klasko has practiced exclusively immigration law. He is a former national President and three-term General Counsel of AILA. He is listed in the 2008 edition of the Best Lawyers in America and is named one of the country’s top immigration lawyers by Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2008. A frequent lecturer and prolific author on immigration law topics, Mr. Klasko is one of only three immigration lawyers ever honored by AILA with the Founders Award–an award given to the individual or group who has had the most important impact on immigration law. A graduate of Lehigh University (B.A. 1971), Mr. Klasko received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D. 1974).
